US entityset up from scratch
Overview
My father built an automotive upholstery business in Slovakia. SeatSkins USA was taking it into the American market: incorporating there, finding the dealers, and landing the partnerships that make a niche product sellable at distance.
Once it was running, I transitioned the business back to him and moved on to the software work.
What we built
- The American entity, set up from scratch
- A US dealer network for a made-to-fit product
- The key partnerships underpinning US distribution, including a partnership with Setina
Outcome
- Closed a deal with the NYPD, working with my father and his team
- Grew US revenue past $125K
- Handed the operation back to my father as a going concern
